Your Frigidaire microwave oven will perform at its best if kept clean inside and out. Clean spills and spatters as they happen to prevent buildup of soil on the oven compartment surfaces. Do a thorough cleaning at least once a week or as usage dictates. A mild detergent such as dish detergent and soft, lint-free cloths are recommended to keep the interior and exterior surfaces free from food particles and greasy buildup. Wipe up spills and spatters as soon as they happen with a wet paper towel. Wipe the microwave inside and out with a soft cloth dampened with a warm, mild detergent solution. Rinse with a soft cloth dampened with plain water. Dry with a soft, dry cloth. Put 2 cups of water into a 4-cup measuring cup. Place the measuring cup in the microwave, then heat on high for 5 minutes to loosen food particles that are stuck to the inside walls.
