The many years of use come with many years of soap buildup, shampoo buildup and hard water stains. It is important to clean the tub surround on a regular basis in order to keep it looking nice. Turn you shower on to hot. Close the shower doors or curtain. Allow the hot water to run for 10 minutes or so. The wet heat will help to soften grime, soap scum and dirt. In a bucket mix 1 cup of white vinegar, 1 cup of ammonia and ½ of a cup of baking soda. Fill the rest of the bucket with hot water. Do not use harsh chemicals because it will remove the finish.
