Using a Bionaire Permatech Ionizing air cleaner helps remove contaminants in the air. To keep the Bionaire Air Cleaner running efficiently, it needs to be cleaned on a regular basis. Turn off the Bionaire Permatech Ionizing air cleaner. Unplug it from the electrical outlet. Wipe the outside of the air cleaner with a soft cloth dampened with plain water. The front air outlet grill can be cleaned with a soft brush or cloth. You can also use a brush attachment on the vacuum. Do not spray any household cleaners on this unit. Remove the rear air inlet grill, using the small nubs located on each side. Wash this grill in warm, soapy water and a soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives or scrubbers on the grill, as these will mar the surface. Remove the foam pre-filter.
