How Do You Clean A Barbecue Grill With A Grillstone?
Scrubbing the grease and stuck-on food from a grill grate drives many people away from using their grills at all, but cleaning the grates becomes easier with a GrillStone. These stones, made of pumice, abrasively scrub the grill grates, but avoid using them with delicate portions of the grill which could scratch: stainless steel, plastic, glass or aluminum. Step 1 Attach the GrillStone to the handle. Step 2 Lay the grill grate on the ground or use the GrillStone with the grate in place in the grill. Step 3 Place the GrillStone pad directly on top of the grill grates and move back and forth, parallel to the grates. Step 4 Knock the GrillStone against the side of the grill to shake off any buildup which deposits onto the stone. Step 5 Wipe a cloth over the grill grates to remove dust on the grates. Step 6 Repeat steps 2 through 4 on the back of the grill grates by turning the grate upside down. Step 7 Rinse the grate before returning it to the barbecue grill if desired.
