Choosing pots to use for climbing Jasmine vine starters is not difficult. Unglazed Terra Cotta pots work best because they breathe, but need to be large enough for good growth. SELECT MAIN POT FROM AVAILABLE TERRA COTTA POTS. Unglazed is best so pot can breathe. Select a 12-inch to 14-inch pot. A used pot is fine if it is cleaned thoroughly with plain hot water and set to dry completely before using. Use hard bristle brush to clean off any deleterious materials on pots. Rinse after cleaning and dry. SELECT SMALL TERRA COTTA POT FOR WATERING PURPOSES. Use 2-inch to 3-inch diameter pot. This smaller pot will fit inside the larger pot to provide watering vehicle as needed.
