Getting a new compact flash card is a matter of personal preference and comes down your preferred combination of card size and speed. Check how many megapixels your digital camera has, since resolution matters in choosing a compact flash card. In general, the more megapixels you have, the higher-capacity CF card you’ll need to get. Cnet advises those with 5-megapixel cameras get at least 256 MB, those with 8 megapixels get 512 MB and those with over 10 megapixels get the largest capacity available.
