Choosing a Great website host is easy when you know what to look for. Step 1 Choose a website host that has reliability and a great “uptime” rating. I don’t know of any that claim 100% uptime, but you want one with at least 99.9% uptime. (No room for slacker companies with stats like these). Step 2 Next you’ll want a host that provides professional customer service 24/7. There is nothing worse than having a problem on Friday night and finding out you can’t do anything until Monday. (I speak from experience here). Step 3 I also like a host that I can purchase an anonymous domain through. (Also called domain privacy). This will allow you to register the domain but not give all of your personal information (literally) to the rest of the world. (Again I speak from experience) Step 4 You’ll need to know what type of account you need also. If you just want to have one or even a few domains a standard hosting package is fine.
