How Do You Choose A Criminal Justice Career?
You’ve just received your college degree in Criminal Justice. Now it’s time to decide what field you want to begin working in. Of course you don’t have to keep the same type of job forever, but it’s time to take what you’ve learned in the classroom and put it into action in a challenging work setting. Take a self-inventory of what you feel are your strong points in areas of criminal justice. Do you have a keen eye for details? Are you comfortable carrying a firearm? Do you like working with the public? Are you good at administration and planning? Focus upon what you feel are your weak points. Do firearms make you uncomfortable? Do you dislike scientific study? Do you have difficulty working directly with people?
