How do you check transmission fluid level on 1994 Escort 1.9?
I don’t know if you know the location of the dipstick. It is on the drivers side, just to the right of the valve cover(it’s a little round knob) Bring the car to operating temperature and starting from park move the gear selector through all the gears and come back to park (or neutral) and then pull the dipstick and wipe it off, then put it back in and read the level of fluid on the dipstick. If it is low add a 1/4 of a quart at a time to bring it to the correct level. You add the fluid through the dipstick tube. That’s it!
