How Do You Check Los Angeles Traffic?

0

Los Angeles is a high traffic region. To get anywhere you have to deal with traffic at any point of the day. People have sought alternate routes and alternate times to do their traveling due to the congestion. Here is how to check the traffic before you leave home or even check it remotely in your car. Visit Sigalert’s website (see Resources below). Several blue dots appear on a map of the Southern California region. Choose the dot or dots where you are traveling. The current speed will appear in the area of the dot. Now you know how slow or fast the traffic is moving. Go to Traffic 411 on the Internet (see Resources below). Select the region of southern California you are interested in. A map will appear with several dots along a roadway. Look for red dots when the traffic is heavy, yellow dots when the traffic is moderate and green dots when the traffic is light. This is a useful tool because you can travel a given road with green dots and then turn off of it when the dots turn red.
