How Do You Charge A Yamaha R1 Battery With A Car?
Nearly every person on occasion leaves a key on, or another accessory running, and drains motorcycle batteries. However, using a car, you can easily and quickly recharge your Yamaha R1 battery. This process is quite important, as if you leave a battery completely run down for too long, the battery can actually lose much of its life permanently. Pull the motorcycle as close as possible to the front of the car. Open the car’s hood and place two end clamps of the jumper cables on the car’s battery mounts. Make sure to match the positive (red) and negative (black) clamps with their corresponding mounts. Remove the seat from your R1, and pull the covers off the battery mounts. Place the other end clamps on the corresponding battery mounts on the motorcycle. Start the car and let it run for several minutes.
