The Toshiba Gigabeat is a handheld video and music player . The Gigabeat is powered by a battery installed within the device. Though you cannot change the Gigabeat battery, you can recharge it using one of two methods. The first method is to use the Gigabeat AC adapter, which is supplied with the Gigabeat. The other option is to connect your Gigabeat to a USB port on your computer. Press the “Batt.” switch on the bottom of the Gigabeat to “On.” The “Batt.” switch was designed to extend the battery life of the Gigabeat.
