Charging a Compaq Evo N600c laptop battery is simple, but effective. Taking the battery out of the laptop is not required. Just plug your laptop into an outlet and it will charge. The only piece of equipment necessary is the power cord that came with the laptop. Without it, you will not be able to charge the battery. Turn the laptop so it faces away from you. Locate the DC power connector on the back of the machine. It is the farthest circular hole on the left. Plug the power adapter’s cylindrical connector into the DC power adapter. Connect the power adapter to the power cord. Run the power cord into an electrical socket.
