When you are booting up your computer, the operating system goes through a series of steps automatically. Some of these steps involve not just the opening of the operating system, but also the opening of any programs that have been configured to start up automatically each time the system is turned on. The process of booting these additional programs can increase the amount of time that it takes for your computer to start. You can change the Windows Startup commands to stop these programs from launching automatically. Access the “System Configuration” utility on your computer.
