How Do You Change Windows 7 Boot Manager?
The Windows 7 Boot Manager allows you to choose which of the operating systems installed on your computer you’d like to boot to when you turn your computer on. By default, if you have multiple OS installations, you are given a choice among them when you start your computer. By using the boot manager, you can set your computer to automatically load into whichever OS you pick without a prompt. Click “Start.” Type “MSCONFIG” into the search box. Click the “MSCONFIG” link in the “Search” results. Click the “Boot” tab. This will display the Windows 7 Boot Manager. Click the listing of an operating system and then click “Remove” to remove it from the Boot Manager. When you start your computer, that operating system will no longer appear among your list of boot options. If you only had Windows 7 and that other operating system installed, your computer will automatically boot into Windows 7. Click “OK” to save your changes.
