Step 2 Grab the rubber booth of the spark plug wire and pull it off. Use your ratchet, spark plug socket, and extension to remove the spark plug. Turn the ratchet until the spark plug is completely loosen. Step 3 Get the new spark plug and compare it for correct replacement. Start the spark plug by hand then tighten with the ratchet.
