How Do You Change The Slew Speed On A Meade LX90GPS Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope?

The Autostar controller has nine slew speeds that are directly proportional to the sidereal rate and have been calculated to accomplish specific functions. Make sure that the declination and right-acsension locks are secured. Verify that Autostar is properly connected to the telescope. Flip the telescope’s power switch to the “On” position. The Autostar screen activates and a copyright message displays briefly, followed by a short beep. Autostar then takes a few moments to start up the system. Read the “sun warning” announcement. Press the prompted key to acknowledge that you have seen and understood the message. The arrow keys will then be activated. Use the arrow keys to slew (move) the telescope up, down, right or left. Press a numerical key to change the slew speed.
