How Do You Change The Slew Speed Of Your Meade LX90GPS Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope With Autostar?

0

Your Autostar computer controller slews your Meade LX90GPS telescope (that is, turns it on its axis) from one object to another or to center an object in the eyepiece. There are nine slew speeds available in Autostar, which are used for different purposes. As you move the telescope using the Autostar arrow keys, you can adjust the slew speed. Navigate through Autostar until you reach the section pertaining to slew speed. Use the number keys to select a slew speed. For fine centering an object in the view of a high power eyepiece, use speeds one through three. For centering an object in the view of a low to moderate eyepiece, use speeds four through six. For rough centering in the eyepiece, use speeds seven or eight. To move the telescope quickly between objects in the sky, use speed nine.
