How Do You Change The Screen Resolution On Windows 98?

0

Since the advent of Windows 98, Microsoft has given users the option to change their screen resolution. If you have just gotten a new monitor or your eyesight has simply changed and you want a clearer picture, you may wish to change the resolution. Luckily, doing so is not a difficult task at all. Go to the Start Menu and click on the “Control Panel”. Click the computer icon that says “Display”. Click “Settings” on the top toolbar. Slide the cursor under “Screen Area” to the left to decrease screen resolution or to the right to increase resolution. Click “Apply” to save your settings and then click “OK” to exit. The screen will turn black for a few seconds to calibrate the new resolution. Click “Yes” to keep the settings or “No” to decline. Restart your computer if you are prompted to do so.
