How do you change the light bulb in a 1998 running board?
With a flat head screwdriver you have to pry the light assemble out. Be careful not to pop the lens cover off because it can come off pretty easily if the gasket is deteriorated. Once you have the fixture out the bulb unit can be remove from the back with a twist. I believe the replacement bulb size is a 211. I just did mine over the weekend and replaced the white bulbs with red ones to highlight the truck’s color.
