How do you change the license plate bulb on a toyota matrix?
Open the hatch door. Right behind the license on the inside of the door is a cover that you take off using a thin blade. The bulb holder needs a quarter turn counter clockwise. The holder thins out as it gets closer to the bulb. The best tool to use would be a curved needle nose gripper. Needle nose pliers do just fine.
