How do you change the language from english text to french text in Apple Pages?

Do you already read and write in French? Or do you just want to write French accented characters in Pages? If you already read and write in French, the best thing to do is to simply change your Apple computer’s language directly to French. This way, your keyboard layout will also have the French accented characters and symbols. To do this, simply go to System Preferences, go to Languages and Text and change Language to French or Francais. If you only need to type in French accented characters but need your computer to stay in English, then use the built-in Character Viewer and simply navigate down to Accented Latin and cut and paste the correct French Symbols to Pages as you create your text. To do this, go to System Preferences, click on Keyboards and then put a check on “Show Keyboard and Character Viewer in the menu bar”. Then click on the character viewer to pop the screen up. Good luck and I hope this helps.
