How Do You Change The Lamp In A Polaroid LCD TV?

0

If the picture on your Polaroid LCD TV is starting to deteriorate, you don’t necessarily need to replace the entire TV. You probably just need to replace the lamp inside it. The projector lamps are the light sources for Polaroid LCD TVs. Without a properly working lamp, you won’t see a clear picture. Power down the TV and all media devices attached. Let the TV cool down before touching anything inside. Unplug all cables attached to the back of the TV, then let the TV cool down for a few more minutes. Remove back cover of the TV. Most covers can be easily removed with a simple screwdriver. Remove the lamp cover. A screwdriver is all you should need. If you can’t find the lamp cover, refer to your Polaroid LCD TV manual. Remove the lamp with a soft cloth to avoid getting burned; the lamp may still be hot. Screw in new lamp using the same soft cloth, because the oils from your hands can cause premature deterioration of the lamp. Attach the lamp cover. Check to make sure it’s properly fast
