How Do You Change The Ink Cartridge In A MP170?
The Canon Pixma MP170 Photo All-In-One scans, copies and prints. The multifunction printer features built-in card slots for directly plugging in and printing digital photos. The Pixma MP170 ships with and uses two Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) ink cartridges that must be replaced when empty. You may view the ink cartridge level in the Printer Status window. When the ink status shows an exclamation point, purchase an ink cartridge replacement. Using replacement ink cartridges other than those specified by Canon may result in less than optimal printing results. Turn on the MP170. Remove the replacement ink cartridge from its package, and set it aside. Open the scanning unit. Locate the scanning unit support in the lower right corner of the scanning unit, and lift it.
