Immediately replace the headlights in your 1996 Honda Accord when they burn out. While you can replace one headlight at a time, replacing both headlights together is generally a good idea. Since your auto parts store may or may not carry a wide selection of aftermarket replacement headlights for your Accord, you will need to ask the clerk what is available for the car. Once you have the replacement headlights, you need to know how to change the headlight in your 96 Accord. Open the hood and remove the cover on the back of the headlight assembly by pulling it off. Unplug the power connector running to the back of the headlight. Turn the headlight counterclockwise and pull it out of the headlight assembly.
