Change the language of “Diablo II: Lord of Destruction” before you begin playing the game so that you won’t lose game data during language translation. Then play and enjoy “Diablo II: Lord of Destruction” in English so you can understand it better. Remember your personal CD-Key. Go through your records until you find it. A language change requires it. Insert the English backup installation disc into your computer’s CD-ROM drive. Choose “Full Installation” when prompted. Install the game as usual, but eject the CD-ROM when you arrive at the part of the installation that asks you to select a directory. Replace the English backup installation disc with an original German installation CD-ROM. Use this disc when prompted to for the “Play” and “Video” discs. Finish the installation.
