The Piaa 510 light system uses a sealed-beam bulb. Changing the sealed-beam bulb is as simple as changing an individual bulb in a composite light system. However, the lamps are more expensive. There is no individual replaceable bulb inside the 510 lamp system. You have to replace the entire glass lens unit, which contains the bulb. You can order a replacement bulb directly from Piaa or you can purchase one from an aftermarket vendor, such as an automotive parts store. Turn the light system off. Turn your car engine off. Let the Piaa bulb cool down for about 10 minutes to avoid injury. Locate the two Phillips screws on either side of the Piaa lens. Try to twist the screws off with your hand. If you can’t, use a medium-sized Phillips screwdriver to unscrew them. As you are doing so, hold the front of the lens to support and keep it from falling.
