How do you change the brake pads on a Jeep Cherokee?
if you dont take the brake line off the caliper, the system remains sealed (no chance of air getting in) so bleeding the brakes is a redundant step. Just remove caliper, remove resevoir cap under hood, push piston back in, clean up calipers, install new pads (+ rotors if you have em) re-install caliper and tighten accordingly, put wheel back on, and take it for a drive. A few light stops, and then a few heavier stops, which will properly seat the new pads. yer done.
