Spy Sweeper is a program designed to protect the computer from spyware and other types of malicious software. By default, Spy Sweeper is loaded automatically when the computer starts up. While this is generally best for computer protection, you may decide that you would prefer to run the program manually—perhaps to decrease the amount of time required for the computer to start up. Alternatively, you may wish to have Spy Sweeper run automatically, but perform a less-extensive system check. Use the configuration options for Spy Sweeper to change its behavior when the computer starts up. Right-click on the Spy Sweeper icon in the system tray, and click “Options.” Click the “Options” button on the left side of the window, then click the “Program” tab.
