Screen resolution is the number of pixels or dots on the screen. For example, a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 produces a viewing area that is 1024 pixels wide and 768 pixels high. With only a few clicks you can easily change your screen resolution to suit your computing and viewing needs. Click the “Main Menu” icon which is located on the left side of the panel. The default Ubuntu panel is located at the top of the screen. This will open a list of programs and services that are available on your computer.
