The following steps explain how to change a PowerPoint 2007 Layout. Create a new slide. Select a non-title slide as you generally will not want to change the layout of the title slide. Select the “Home” tab on the ribbon and click the “New Slide” button. This will insert a new slide after the current slide with the same layout. Add a slide with a different layout.
