How do you change out radio in 2000 Honda CRV?
It’s a good idea to buy your radio at Crutchfield since they provide an illustrated guide. First step is to take out the dash panels. Remove the glove box screws and set glove box aside. Starting with the screw facing the door on the passenger side of the dash, remove the rest of the screws and pull to release tabs. Remove the small trim piece at the bottom of the center stack (4 screws). With these trim pieces pulled away, the hidden screws in the center stack are revealed. Unscrew these along with the visible screws. Remove the screws in the trim piece above the drivers knees, and pull away. Remove hidden screws from center stack trim and pull away. Uncouple the connecting harness for the cigarette lighter and climate controls. The center stack cover can pull away. Like the other trim pieces, it may require a pull.
