How Do You Change MS Excel Currency Codes?
Globalization is proving to be more than a trend in the economy. In today’s workplace, your company is likely to have offices or customers around the globe. Money, of course, is a large factor in any business large or small. And many businesses use Excel spreadsheets in their operations. Thus, being able to change MS Excel currency codes for international accounting documents is necessary. Select the cell or cells in your spreadsheet in which you wish to change the currency codes. Click on the “Home” tab at the top of the page to display the “Home” ribbon. Click on the down-pointing arrow next to the “$” in the “Number” section of the ribbon. Click on the desired currency code from the listing that appears. If your desired currency appears, you are done. Click on “More Accounting Formats” if your desired currency is not listed. The “Format Cells” dialog box appears. Click on the “Symbol” field in the dialog box to display additional currency codes. Click on your desired currency code.
