How Do You Change LED Light Bulbs?

0

LED bulbs have many advantages over other types of bulbs, with one of the biggest being that they have a much longer life span than any other type of light bulb. However, LED bulbs, like every other bulb, will eventually burn out. When this happens, the process of changing the bulb is relatively simple to do. Turn off the light fixture. For added safety, unplug the lamp as well. Slowly remove the burnt out bulb. You can usually do this by turning the bulb counterclockwise. Replace the LED bulb with a new bulb. Install the bulb by turning it in the direction opposite what you did to loosen the old bulb (Typically the direction is clockwise.) Plug the lamp in, and turn on the light fixture. If the bulb does not turn on, turn the light off and try tightening the bulb further. Discard the old light bulb in an environmentally safe way (see Tips section).
