How Do You Change Leading In Quarkxpress?

0

Leading (pronounced led-ing) is the space between lines of text in a document. Adjusting the leading, especially in a page of dense text, often makes the text easier to read. Less space between the lines makes a page look darker; more space makes it look lighter. QuarkXPress 3.3 and 4.0 for Macintosh allow you to change the leading in your Quark documents easily. Windows instructions may vary slightly. Select the text that you want to change. Go to the Style menu and select Leading. Choose the desired leading in points (you may have to experiment here). Click OK. Check to see how the new leading affects the text and the look of the page. Adjust the point size up or down until you obtain the result you want.
