A simple, yet not always accurate way is as follows… take the Fahrenheit number and subtract 32 and divide by 2 to get the approximate reading in Celsius. So… 70F, minus 32, divided by 2 is 19C. 82F, minus 32, divided by 2 is 25C It also works in reverse of course… 32C, times 2, plus 32 is 96F 16C, times 2, plus 32 is 64F These are not 100% accurate and get less accurate when you get into lower temperatures… -40F is actually -40C so in this case it wouldn’t work, right! C = (F -32) × 5/9, that’s a new one to me and is far more accurate. That’s fantastic, thanks!!
