How Do You Change Flex Watch Bands?

0

Flex watchbands have a reputation for durability and overall quality and rarely need to be changed out of necessity. But there are times that a flex watchband will break and needs to be replaced, or sometimes it’s just time for a change of style. No matter what the reason, you can replace the band yourself pretty quickly. Remove the band from the watch case. Position the watch on its side. Use a spring bar tool to remove the spring bar from one side of the watch. Measure the space between the lugs on the watch. Alternatively, measure the width of the old band. Purchase the band of your choice that will fit the measurements of the watch lugs. Place the ends of the new band in the openings on the side of the watch. Insert the spring bar through the lugs and the band. Use the spring bar tool’s forked side to insert one end of the spring bar into the hole on the side of the watch casing. Use your fingers to snap the other end into place. Repeat Steps 1 and 3 for the other side of the watch
