How Do You Change Email Security Settings?
Today’s email users have to be careful that by opening email and attachments they are not opening up their computers to attack from malicious software. The world’s most popular email management software, Microsoft Outlook, now features a trust center where security settings can be changed to fit your preferences. Open Outlook and from the main program window, and select “Tools” from the menu options at the top of the window. Click on “Security Center” from the drop-down menu. The Trust Center window will open. Select “Email Security” from the pane on the left of the Trust Center window. Use the check boxes to select the security settings you prefer regarding encrypted email, digital IDs, plain text message options and the allowing of scripts.
