How Do You Change Burned-Out Headlight Bulbs On A Lexus RX 300?
The Lexus RX300 is a crossover SUV. The RX 300 was originally designed to be a functional SUV without sacrificing on luxury. Introduced in 1998, the RX300 has gone through three generations (as of 2009). As with any vehicle, the RX300 needs to be maintained regularly. One of the most common maintenance procedures on the Rx300 is changing a burned-out headlight bulb. Open the hood and locate the headlight assembly on either side of the engine bay. Pull up on the headlight bulb cover and remove it. Unplug the electrical connector from the back of the headlight bulb assembly. Squeeze the plug-style connector and pull it apart from the bulb assembly. Rotate the bulb counterclockwise and pull the bulb out of the headlight housing. Install the new bulb. Installation is the reverse of removal. The part number for the new bulb will be located on the base of the old bulb.
