How Do You Change An Off-Road Motorcycle Tire?
Off-road motorcycle tires are much easier to change than large vehicle tires. However, there are a few things to remember to keep from pinching a tube or ruining a tire. These things will prevent you from having to change the tire more once again. Use a crescent wrench to loosen and remove the axle nut on the tire. Then use a hammer to gently tap the end of the lug bolt and start the bolt through the axle chamber. Pull the lug bolt completely out of the axle, and set it on a clean rug. Slide the tire slightly forward and roll the chain off the tire’s sprocket. (This is only required when changing a rear tire.) Use a knife or screwdriver to press the valve stem core of the tire and let all the air out of the tube. Set the tire on a clean run, sprocket down. Use a crowbar to begin pulling up the side of the tire over the rim. Start just above the tire’s valve stem, and work your way fully around the tire. Make sure that all previous locations you have pried stay up above the rim edge. Re
