How Do You Change An Ipod Mini Battery?
The iPod Mini is a portable music player designed by Apple for use with the iTunes application. There are two generations of iPod Mini, both of which use the same type of 3.7-volt battery; over time, this battery may grow increasingly incapable of holding a full charge. In this event, you may find it necessary to change the battery in your iPod Mini. Although Apple does not consider this a user-serviceable procedure, there are several replacement battery kits available online (see Resources below) and the procedure for changing out an iPod Mini Battery is very straightforward. Use a flat-head screwdriver or plastic pry tool (preferred) to pry the top cover off of the iPod Mini; pry the edges up first, then carefully lift the cover out of place. Locate and remove the two screws on the metal plate on the top of the iPod Mini. Pry the bottom cover off just as you did the top cover. Locate the metal clip on the bottom of the iPod Mini, and pry it out of the device, one edge at a time. Loca
