How Do You Change A Windows Live Hotmail Password?
Your Windows Live ID not only gives you access to Hotmail, it grants you access to MSN Messenger, Windows Live Messenger and a host of other features. Sometimes when you have had a password for a long period of time, it may be a good idea to change or update it to prevent hacking and for other security reasons. Windows Live makes this easy. Log in to your Hotmail account by typing in your Windows Live username and password, which is identical to your Hotmail username and password. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click “Privacy.” Click “Account” on the bar that runs along the “Privacy” link. Click “Change” under “Password Reset Information.” Type in your old password, then your desired new password. Your password strength will then be given. Type in your new password once more if you are satisfied. Click the radio button if you want your password to expire every 72 days for security reasons. Click “Save.” Your new password has now been saved and created.
