Your Web page description appears below your Web site’s URL in the results of a search engine query. Changing that description keeps your site current. Follow these steps to change a Web page description in the Yahoo! Member Pages Directory. Go to the Yahoo! GeoCities home page with the Member Pages Directory (see Resources, below). From here you will be able to edit your Web page and its description. Click the “Edit” button in the “My Listings” section of the home page. This will take you to a listing of all of the Web pages that you have with the service. Find the page that you want to change and click “Edit.” You will be taken to an editing screen. Write your new description in the editing screen. Make sure that you are working on the right page and have a good listing in mind. Click “Finish.” This will save the changes to your Web page.
