The days of going to the music store and purchasing records, cassette tapes and compact discs has come and gone. The Internet is flooded with music download websites where a consumer can get just about anything with a click of the mouse. The majority of the music downloaded from these websites is in “MP3” format. The reason for this is hard disk storage space. “MP3” files take up less space than standard “WAV” files, therefore a user can save more music using less hard disk space. The problem with the “MP3” format is that the music does not have as good sound quality as music saved in the “WAV” format.
