How Do You Change A Sprites Color Palette In Fireworks?
Sprites are the animated objects and characters in 2D animations and video games. One of the sprite’s important properties is its color palette, a table of 256 colors used to create the sprite. By limiting the number of possible colors, color palettes reduce the game’s memory requirements and increase playback speed. Programs like Fireworks allow you to modify or even swap color palettes. Open the sprite in Fireworks. Open the Optimize palette and make sure the image type is GIF (not JPEG or PNG). Click on the “Preview” button to see the color table in the Optimize palette.
