The biggest problem is finding the conversion orifice to do it. Many people purchase their appliances from major retailers near the city limits to save money on the appliances. Most appliances sold within the city limits are designed for natural gas. The major appliance retailers may or may not sell the conversion kits for propane. Finding one to fit your make and model dryer at an appliance dealer that sells conversion kits may offend them that you didn’t choose to buy your dryer from them. Being nice and begging may help. Remove the natural gas inlet from the back of the dryer using a hand wrench. Wrap thread tape around the threads of the orifice converter and thread into the inlet. Tighten with a hand wrench. In some conversion orifice kits, there may be an adjusting screw on the top that will need to be clo
