Replacing the light in your GE profile convection oven will bring back the needed light in your oven. Changing the light bulb was not intended to be a consumer project, but it can be done. Follow these steps, and you will be able to replace the light as well as save money by doing it yourself. Unplug the GE Profile Convection Oven unit from the wall electrical outlet. Unscrew the outer cabinet from the oven. Much like a microwave, there will be screws on the sides and back. Unscrew all these screws. Lift the outer casing and locate the bulb. It will be on one of the sides. Unscrew the bulb and replace with the new one. Put back on the outer cabinet and screw down tightly. Once you are done, test the light.
