How Do You Change A Leaky Shower Faucet?
Leaky faucets happen more often than we would like. The faucet just starts to drip one day. This leak wastes valuable potable water, and, can be quite annoying in the silence of the night. This repair may seem complicated, but all it takes is is a little know how, a few tools and a few minutes of your time to change a leaky shower faucet on your own. Turn off the water to the shower at the tap. Wrap a clean, dry cloth onto the pipe connected to the shower head. Wrap a clean, dry cloth onto the shower head. Place a pipe wrench onto the cloth on the pipe with the open side facing to the left. Place another pipe wrench on the cloth on the base of the shower head with the open side facing to the right. Press the handles of the pipe wrenches toward each other to loosen the head from the pipe. Remove the pipe wrenches and cloths. Twist the shower head counter clockwise to remove it from the pipe.
