How Do You Change A Kenmore Dryer Element?
When your dryer is running but your clothes are not getting dry, it could be due to a bad heating element. Fortunately this is quite repairable once you know how to change a Kenmore dryer element. You will need the model number of your dryer to purchase a replacement element. Most well-stocked appliance repair shops will have an element that is compatible with your unit. Disconnect the electrical supply from the Kenmore dryer by unplugging it from the wall outlet. Insert a flathead screwdriver between the toe panel and the front panel of the Kenmore dryer. Locate and press in the two retaining clips that are approximately 4 inches from each corner. Pull the toe panel off, and set it out of the way. Locate the heater element holding can.
