How Do You Change A Hyundai Wiper Motor?

0

The wiper motor on a Hyundai powers the windshield wipers. Over time, the wiper motor may become worn out. When this happens, you’ll notice the motor squealing or hesitating when it is on. Replacement motors can be purchased from a Hyundai dealership. Alternatively, you may purchase replacement motors from most auto parts stores. Open the hood on your Hyundai and locate the wiper motor assembly on the firewall on the passenger side of the vehicle. Disconnect the negative battery cable for safety. Loosen the retaining nut on the negative clamp and lift the cable off the negative battery terminal. Remove the electrical connector running to the wiper motor assembly. Remove the two bolts that hold the wiper motor in place and slide the wiper motor off the firewall. Install the new wiper motor. Installation is the reverse of removal.
